Monir Newsroom is designed with privacy in mind. This policy describes what data the plugin handles and where it goes. WHAT THE PLUGIN STORES LOCALLY ON YOUR WORDPRESS SITE - Your AI provider API keys (encrypted at rest using AES-256-CBC) - Your beat configurations (descriptions, source URLs, polling schedule) - Article drafts and published posts (in your standard WordPress database) - Agent activity logs (which agent ran, when, cost, status) - Cost tracking data All of this data lives on your own server in your WordPress database. None of it is sent to Monir Tech Solutions. WHAT IS SENT TO THIRD-PARTY AI PROVIDERS When the plugin generates a draft, it sends the following to whichever AI provider you have configured (Anthropic, Google Gemini, or OpenAI): - Your beat description (so the AI knows your focus) - Source article text excerpts (so the AI can synthesize the story) - Generated draft text (for fact-checking and polishing passes) These providers have their own privacy policies. Review them before connecting: - Anthropic: https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy - Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy - OpenAI: https://openai.com/privacy WHAT IS SENT TO IMAGE SERVICES When the plugin sources an image, it queries: - Wikimedia Commons (only for named-person stories, only retrieves CC-licensed images) - Pexels (stock photo API, no personal data sent) - AI image providers (Pro only — Google Imagen or OpenAI DALL-E with image prompts only) WHAT IS NOT COLLECTED - The plugin does not send any telemetry or usage data to Monir Tech Solutions by default - No personal data of your readers is collected by the plugin - No tracking cookies are set by the plugin - No analytics scripts are loaded LICENSE VERIFICATION (PRO ONLY) Pro users have their license verified through Freemius, which sends only the license key and site URL for verification purposes.
