Everything you need to streamline your workflow
Custom Beats in Your Own Words
Describe what your site covers in plain language. The AI builds your editorial focus from your description and reads relevant sources automatically — no rigid categories to fit into
Every Article Cross-References 5+ Sources
Real journalism requires multiple sources. The Beat Reporter only drafts when 5 or more sources are covering the same story. No single-source rewrites, no thin content.
Multi-Agent Newsroom Pipeline
Source Monitor, Beat Reporter, Fact-Checker, Copy Editor, Image Prompt Writer, Photo Editor, and Translator agents work together like a real newsroom team — each handling their specialty.
Built-In Fact-Checking on Every Draft
A dedicated Fact-Checker agent verifies every claim against source articles before saving. Auto-publish only releases verified content. This safety gate is non-removable for your protection.
Bring Your Own AI Key (BYOAK)
Connect Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or OpenAI with your own API key. You control the spend, the provider, and the data path. No middleman markup
Smart Image Sourcing
Wikimedia Commons for stories about named public figures (free-license photos), Pexels for stock imagery, and AI-generated images via Imagen 3 or DALL-E 3 (Pro tier).
Multi-Language Translation (Pro)
Translate drafts into Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Spanish, French, or Arabic. The Translator agent handles full article translation while preserving fact-check verdicts.
Cost Dashboard (Pro)
Track API spending by agent, beat, and provider. Export CSV reports. Set monthly budgets. See exactly what each article costs to produce.
Human Editorial Approval Workflow
Every draft lands in your Editor's Desk for review. Edit, publish, or discard with one click. Auto-publish is opt-in per beat and only triggers on fact-check-approved drafts.
Legally-Required AI Disclosure Built In
Every article includes a clear AI disclosure block. Source URLs are visible. JSON-LD NewsArticle schema with creditText is always emitted. Stays compliant by defaul
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about this plugin
No. Monir Newsroom researches stories from real news sources (RSS feeds and news APIs), then drafts articles based on what actual sources are reporting. Every article cites its sources and is built from 5+ cross-referenced articles.
Most AI content plugins generate text from a prompt. Monir Newsroom is structured like a real newsroom — multiple specialized AI agents play different roles (reporter, fact-checker, editor, photographer), and every article is based on at least 5 cross-referenced sources. The output reads like real journalism, not generic AI content.
The Free plan includes 10 articles per month, spread across 1 custom beat plus 1 starter beat (you can also use just one). Most small publications find this sufficient for testing the plugin and supplementing their human-written content. Heavier publishers should consider the Pro plan.
Typically 1 to 2 hours after setup. The agents need time to read sources, find story clusters (5+ sources covering the same event), draft, fact-check, and source images. After your first article, subsequent drafts appear faster — usually 15-30 minutes once your beat's wire is warmed up.
Yes. You bring your own API key from Anthropic, Google Gemini, or OpenAI. The plugin uses your key to make API calls. Typical cost per article is $0.01 to $0.10 depending on provider and model selection. Google Gemini has a generous free tier suitable for many small sites.
Yes, but only fact-check-approved articles can ever auto-publish. You can enable auto-publish per beat. Articles that fail or have concerns from the Fact-Checker always wait for your manual review — this safety gate cannot be disabled.
Articles from Monir Newsroom are synthesized from 5 or more sources with the AI's own analysis, structure, and language — meaningfully different from copy-paste or paraphrased content. The Fact-Checker also flags passages that read too close to a single source. Combined with proper editorial review, this approach holds up well against current search engine quality guidelines (EEAT).
Yes, on Pro plans. The Translator agent produces drafts in Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Spanish, French, or Arabic. Source articles are read in their original language regardless of your output language. The Free plan produces English-only drafts.
The plugin detects provider failures and shows a clear error in the admin with remediation instructions. Beat dispatches pause until the issue is resolved. There is no silent fallback to a different provider — your beat will not run on a provider you didn't choose.
Yes. Articles are saved as standard WordPress posts. Your existing theme renders them using your normal post template. The plugin doesn't modify or override theme files.
Use the New AI Draft feature. Provide a topic description and 1-3 source URLs, and the agents will draft an article from your chosen sources in 1-3 minutes — useful for breaking news or specific stories you want covered immediately.
Minimal. The setup wizard handles configuration. Daily use is editing drafts in WordPress's standard editor and clicking Publish. If you can use WordPress, you can use Monir Newsroom.
